Default How to Repair Curb Rash on Wheels

I found this awesome guide on repairing curb rash on wheels:

http://www.bmwtips.com/tipsntricks/wheel-r...cuff-repair.htm

I have curb rash on all 4 of my wheels (previous owner) & I'm thinking of taking this on. The only issue is figuring out what color to spray the s2000 wheels. Anyone have any ideas on what color / brand to use? I have AP2 v1 wheels.

I do this professionally for a living ap2 v1 wheels have a machined polish face so there is no "silver paint" color for that. It's a good start I would not recommend using putty as that is for panels or plastic bumpers and will not last against another curb rash incident.

My wheels are pretty chewed up (old owner). Not sure if these are even repairable without adding some bondo.

Or you could do what I did and Sand them to a mirror finish with 600, 800, 1000,then 2000 grit sand paper and the faces will look like a chrome or polished rim. Then respray the rest of the rim silver again to liven and freshen up the look
