Paint cracking/spider-webbing on plastic panels near trunk
There are two small plastic panels on either side of the trunk near the rear window. Both of these pieces have "spider-webbed" paint now. Has anyone tried replacing or repainting these?
It's not that much of an eye-sore, but I guess it will only get worse. Just seeing if anyone has tried to deal with this issue.

Anybody got an idea on what part this is? I first thought it might be part of the frame below the rear windshield (rear windshield lower frame), but I'm not sure.
Apparently these pieces start looking like this over time because they are plastic?
Also, the one screw there doesn't seem to be the only thing you need to remove to replace this part.
Any ideas?

The link you posted is for the metal panel between these two plastic filler pieces. You can remove them by removing the screw and getting behind the plastic tab with a screwdriver blade(very carefully), while pulling on the tab/screwdriver toward the rear of the car wiggle the part left and right. There is another clip under the part that needs to be disengaged and there is tape on the inner edge which makes is somewhat of a pain to remove. Once removed just refinish the parts and reinstall. Good luck.
