Random paint blisters - Super low mileage car
Hello guys,
I was planning to buy a 2007 car with only 12.000 miles from the first owner. Besides the usual stone chips, I noticed the front right fender and the right door each had one small paint blister (paint bubble) kind of in the middle.
The car is HPI clear and the owner says it was never painted. I was just wondering if this is a sign that he might not be telling the truth? Especially as the car was always garaged.
Another thing, when I was just arriving to see the car, the owner was polishing it with polish from a tube, nothing close to professional. He said he did that from time to time. Could this have damaged the paint?
Thank you,

That could be indicative of a poor repair but without pictures it is hard to offer up an opinion.
I always cringe when I see people doing things like that to a car, especially one I may be buying. I am very particular about how I detail and what products I use. Hopefully it wasn't a rubbing compound or GS27 or similar "scratch remover." I don't think any product he would have used would cause a blister since that is usually heat related or air/water getting trapped in the paint at the time it was painted.

Chances are it is a bit of rust forming underneath the paint. I've seen paint blisters on factory defect paint with adhesion problems but that was dozens of blisters, if you only see two then it could be rust forming.
