S2000 has an eyesore

Can anyone tell me why there is a crease near the front headlights of my s2000? This a 2005 that I purchase 2 months ago. I know the bumper as been repainted but I think they screwed up remounting it. I see a few pictures of others online with very similar crease and I have seen some with cracked paint resulting from it. I see no information on how this area is aligned with the bumper support, anyone have a solution to this problem?

Oh I know this crease! It happened to me a while back when trying to remount my front bumper after removal. I believe it to be the bumper sitting above where it needs to clip in at that location. You need to remove the bumper and try to press it back in to the correct clip. For me, it happened when I tried to reattach the bumper too high, in order to get the gap as close to the headlamp as possible.

I got bored on Friday night. LOL! The crease bugged me enough to see if I can fix it.

Hey thanks for the response and you're right about the clip area below the lights. My bumper clipped correctly but I did notice that the meta bar with clip was a bit higher and closer to the head light in the creased area. So I loosened the two bolts that held the metal bar and pushed it down almost 1/4 of inch lower and re-tighten the bolts. I then reinstalled the bumper and made sure there were no pressure made on the bumper just below the headlight. Before installing the bumper, I also removed the crease with a heat gun and cooled it down with a wet rag, I repeated this until it was straight again on its own. This adjustment took me about 1-1/2 hour but it made my day as it was my first time removing the bumper!
