silverstone spray paint

Any brands out there that are good match?

One of the hardest colors to duplicate even in a shop, I think there are about 7 shades. Please let us know if you can find a really good match.

i had the automotive touchup mix 1 and it was too dark on my '03. They did a remix which was lighter, but had too much metallic and was still a tad too dark.

next time I'll see if they can go just a hair lighter- it won't be until next winter but i'll reply with my results.

It's funny that this thread popped up. I just got done painting my AP1 replica lip and installed this morning. I'll take some pics and post them for discussion. Bottom line for me is that it's damn close and the lip, shipping and the paint (Automotivetouchup.com adhesion promoter, base coat, and clear coat) with shipping came to around $102.

Nice job. If you did not tell anyone, no one would notice. I plan on doing my lower lip as well this summer in the Rio Yellow. Will take advantage of the sharp corner going upwards to mask any color differences.

I did a rear bumper in Laguna Blue with Automotive Touchup spray cans and even though I did an amateur job on the clearcoat step (made the mistake of misting to use up the last of the can instead of stopping with the final nice, full wet coat), people are still surprised to hear it wasn't the original paint. It passes the 10-foot test, at least. For $90 all-in, it was the right solution for a track bumper.

Looks good but you need the Honda weatherstripping to give it the true OEM look, it really makes a big difference.

Where would I find this stripping? Have a part number?
