Just a suggestion: How about using a hairdryer or heat gun before you spray it?

So was doing the same today and at first I thought it was serious road/grease grime. But then realized it was likely an undercoating. My question - is the whole wheel well under coated black? After the spraying with the hose, there were area that were yellow (mine is spa). It wasn’t a bright shiny Spa yellow but it was yellow, not plain sheet metal.. does this sound right. I should have taken pics before I put the wheels back on

For everyone here - don't use bed liner or undercoating spray. Just find an oil-spray place and let it goo-up in.
Well known issue that everyone found out after 2014, 2015.

My car has fluid film on the bottom which prevents rust, but before the fluid film coating I had the wheel wells coated in truck bed liner when I had the control arms off the car. The rocks perpetually destroy the liner, but that's okay, a spray here and there.
