Wrapping the OEM Hardtop
Please share any of your experiences vinyl wrapping the OEM hardtop. Is there a way to vinyl wrap it and not have to remove the window? How difficult would it be to DIY?

you need a huge sheet 6' * 8'
if your hardtop window moulding is nice and soft, get 3m trim pull tape. pull the trim back and tuck and cut your vinyl and add edge promoter. then release the 3m trim pull tape.
If you have oem hardware start with the top on the car unlatched, and the rear side panels removed so you can wrap the bottom edge.As you come down the sides, pick the rear of the top up and lock the latches, so the pins sit ontop of the catchers holding the top from sliding and lifting it up 2", this will give you room to wrap around the edge, and your panels should already be removed inside.
do the front edge last, when you get done the rear pilars, keeping the spikes as they are, tilt the top backwards teeter totering on the spikes, and use the roof latches to prop it up on the windshield moulding for a moment, wrap the front edge, then drop the front back down, put the plastic panels back in the rear, then drop the spikes in and latch.
