[Need Settings] KW V3 Street/Daily Driver AND AutoX/track Settings
Hi there,
I recently installed my KW V3s, I am currently running 5 Bump from full stiff and rebound front 10 from full stiff and rear 14 from full stiff. I feel that the car is really stiff at this point. MUCH Stiffer than OEM causing my back to hurt/be sore for longer periods of driving. The car gets driven 5-6 months in a year with 95% of that on the road/daily use and 5% will be auto-x 1-2 times/yr. I am hoping that the springs will soften as they settle/see more use.
If you guys can offer your street/daily driver settings AND auto-X/Track settings, that would be great! I've tried to search for settings but all i got was a guide (Rob's KW V3 Guide). The guide is hard to apply for the street.

My current settings which seem to work pretty well for me (keep in mind I'm running square 255 tire setup):
Front: 4 clicks from full stiff on rebound, 1.5 sweeps from full stiff on compression.
Rear: 7 clicks from full stiff on rebound, 2.5 sweeps from full stiff on compression.

Wow. I can only imagine how planted that car feels. I am running the new clicker compression/bump knobs. What does 1 sweep equal in clicks?

I've tried the rear stiffer on the rebound but the back of the car became more bouncy. So at least on the roads that I drive, its a pretty nice setting without excessive bounce. I'm using the same setup for both street and track, but otherwise on the street I'd lower the compression down more.
If I remember right the "window" is 90 degrees (aka, 25% around the shock). so one sweep you're moving the shaft a quarter of a full circle. There are ~8 sweeps from full soft to full stiff on mine.

I leave my rebound the same all the time: 3 clicks from full stuff front and 6 clicks from full stiff rear. At the track, I run my compression 1 click from full stiff. Then, before leaving the track, I turn my compression to 3 clicks from full SOFT. It's not hard to change compression, so I choose not to suffer on way home
