Default 350z rear brakes

has anyone looked into if these could be fitted to our cars? i really dont know how hard this could be but these brakes can be had for dirt cheap and the rotors are vented. i know the lug pattern is the same as ours so the rotors should ? fit.

The 350Z comes with a lot of brake options.

Which option?

You'd need custom brackets and a solution for the parking brake.

Didn't 350/370 Z's have some issues with overheating brakes
when driven hard?

So do S2000's.

350Z brakes with race pads will be very reliable for track use.

OP likely wants this for looks, however.

3 options that I know of.

Standard. 4 piston. Brembo.

There are at least 3 different front rotor sizes. I kinda assumed at least 3 different rear rotor sizes.

lol...and I kinda lumped 370Z's in there too...which would create more options (my bad).

my car is a track only car. i was just wondering how come the s2000 shops havent looked into these vs the expensive options i see from each shop. 350z has 3 rear options , 2 that are single piston base (small rotor) 07 single piston (bigger rotor) 03-08 brembo 2 piston (biggest rotor) . all of these are still better then a s2000 rear plus all have ebrake connections .

In 350Z land:
Track and Brembo are the same caliper for an 18" wheel
there is also an 18" non Brembo caliper
and there is also a 17" non Brembo caliper They have no 17 " Brembo option
So all total there are 3 front wheel Z calipers

All 350Z parking brakes are in the drum...not the caliper, as far as I can tell.

Your S2000 spindle/hub doesnt have those provisions.

That's the big reason companies aren't using 350Z/STi/EVO/etc brembos or larger sliding calipers from other cars for a cheap rear upgrade.

How does the NSX parking brake work? If its in the caliper...maybe NSX rear rotors and calipers are a cheap/easy upgrade.

Edit: it looks like NSX's have calipers with integrated parking brakes. And (relatively) bigass vented rotors.
