Where are you exactly? I have PSS9's and would be more than happy to take you for a ride (when the weather is better) to see if it helps you make a decision. It's super refined, I love it. The difference compared to what you have now is substantial.

This! Throw some axle spacers in for good measure. Spend the rest of your money on a good torque wrench and ratchetting wrenches if you dont have already.

Thanks to everyone who replied. As I said I plan to do some HPDE and autox but as a dad with 4 kids I'm not counting on more than a couple weekends this year.

I just bought some tires (bfgoodrich rivals), RPF1's 17x9 +45, and HKS Hipermax GT coilovers.

That normally would come to around a little under 3k

RPF1's in that size - 950ish shipped

HKS Hipermax GT's - 1250ish shipped

RIVALS - 600ish shipped

I bought an oem style lip off eBay for 50$ too
How did you decide on those products? Are you rolling fenders with the 17x9s?

I'm about to get my bushings replaced because they're seized and lower on eibach/koni.

RPF1's - always had a thing for these wheels

HKS GT's - It was between these, fortune 500's, HKS SP's, of bilstien pss9's

I haven't read anything negative about the HKS's, only good things, The SP's felt like it was more harsh of a ride, and I like to drive it on the street, It'll see track time maybe 2-3 times a year.

never really heard of the fortune brand, figured they were the same as the regular Chinese stuff (BC, MEGAN, KSPORT, etc.) didn't want to risk making the car worse than stock form.

RIVAL BFGoodrich, they were on sale at tire rack, I wanted extreme performance tires, was going to order RS3's when I saw these for a bit better price, so I said lets try them.

after this...I've decided I may buy a camber kit set for the front, and do the ap2 retainer upgrade too.

You don't know enough to know what you do and don't want when it comes to coilovers. Don't buy big budget wheels yet. Go ap2 wheels with extreme summer tires at or near factory stagger. Street drive this for a while, take videos if you can and comment to the camera on the handling. Do that for a few weeks and then sell the crappy megans. Replace with the stock shocks. And repeat the process. Stock shocks are very good, so you may be fine there. However if you are looking for more, Analize the difference between the shocks to help determine what you are after.

Have fun
