I thought the body roll on the OEM suspension was a tad atrocious. But I had been using aftermarket coilovers and autocrossed 4 years previous to owning the S2K. I wish more people knew how well the T1R BMAX 52's rode, they are awesome, very comfortable, I ride around on track settings, no problems and most people compliment on how it rides, track proven back in the day as well.

Give op some break. Some prefer the lowered look. Some prefer stiffer springs. Nothing wrong with wanting to go KW, which happen to be one of the better coilover out there. It's not like he is asking about Ebay coilover.

Op: if u r in socal, hire Billy to dial in KWV3. better yet, hire him to coach u, then trick him to dial the car in for free. He will get it 90% there. Last 10% is personal preference.
Dial them in? Don't you know I just "Set my shocks on fast"?

Yeah, I want the car lowered first of course. And I am looking for a coilover to will do that and track sometimes. The guy who does the install and all that builds M3 track cars from the ground up and tracks them all the time.

I actually live in Orlando so thats damn far from Cali lol. Thanks again for all the replies.
You should make a trip down to Homestead-Miami for my next Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge race this weekend.

I have no idea how it happened but for the longest time I had billy on my ignore list. I kept seeing posts/threads I wanted to read but couldn't. All along I thought maybe he was blocked on the site or something. Glad I figured that one out!

It's okay that you just don't like me...

Now you have to go read all my posts to see what you were missing! -jk.

I bought my car with KW V3's already installed, I'm not sure how "close/fast" the settings are right now, but they're well within my personal tolerance for driving around town, I like 'em alot.

I'm belatedly moving this thread to the Suspension forum. That forum's more appropriate than Racing and Competition because the original poster is asking primarily for street use, has never been to the track, and is more concerned about drop than optimal handling at the limits of adhesion.
