Default ? About Replacing/Flushing Brakes

I put in Motul RBF600 early May and I've done one autocross and about 900 tame street miles after. I was planning on rolling with it for this weekends HPDE at a track that is hard on front brakes. I put track pads in this afternoon, and inspected my brake fluid. Pressure's good, but was once nearly a clear gold color is now a brown color. It's not cloudy, it's just a nice dark tea color. It kind of raised my eyebrows since I run RBF600 on my CBR, and it's nearly the same color as new and I've done 3000 street miles, and 1 HPDE on it very agressive brake pads.

I don't mind flushing and replacing it if I need to, but I think it's too early. @ nearly $20 a bottle I don't want to be wasteful.

yeah that seems very soon but ive never ran the motul im gunna run the ate super blue. i would try and bleed out whats at the calipers after every event and just top off keeps it from circulating in the whole system and ruining all of the fluid
and if you change pads between events just crack the bleeder when your compressing the piston and it will get all the fluid right at the piston out and you wont push the nasty fluid back up the line.

GL let us know nick

Thanks. I went ahead and did a hardcore flush just to make sure. I sucked out all the old fluid from the reservoir, then I removed the reservoir cleaned it out and reinstalled it. I filled it back up and bled every wheel until each wheel ran clean. Topped the reservoir back off and the pressure feels a little bit better. Thanks for the recommendation to bleed it at the piston after the event. First time I ever bled brakes myself and I didn't know it was so easy.

I have a buddy that runs the super blue and the only downside to it is it's hard to visually guage it's condition since its so dark and not really translucent.

I do. But I don't use Honda DOT3 anymore. I do several track days and AutoX's a year and it's a benefit to have the good stuff. I take the unused RBF600 and flush my bike with what's left so I use every bit of it.
