Acura TL-S brake caliper upgrade thread

Smaller piston on the bottom (old bleeders facing the bottom) and still using the S2000 prop valve. I'm running hc800+ pads but they're noisey on the street.

to clarify, these are the 04 and up TL type S brembos, correct? because i don't recall my brothers 03 type S having these brakes..
appearance wise, that caliper is a lot more pleasing than the stock brake set up. I'm guessing you went with NSX rotors due to those cars running the same hub diameter, correct?

wow that came out grate.
why do you think the spacer wouldn't work?
also do you think you could drill out the hub for the caliper bolts and if you wanted to go back to the factory calipers us a sleeve?

I decided not to go with the spacer because I would have to get them custom made with a hubcentric ring built in. Nothing wrong with that but it just sounds more expensive. The same goes with the holes for the bolts, I chose to drill the calipers out instead because it made more sense. I figured that "if I ever went back to the stock", I can still use the existing bolts. Plus the threads would be wayy stronger with the steel inserts.
