Default Coilover preload adjustment help

The coil over on the left is straight out of the box, unadjusted and the one on the right is one that I messed with. I though the ride height was adjusted using this top two perches. But I guess I tightened the preload instead. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get the preload = to the original one. Can't seem to loosen that perch. Coilover preload adjustment help-rkdjium.jpg

you have 3 locking collars there

the most bottom one locks the ride height adjuster (the bottom shaft where it says "FORTUNE AUTO")

then the next one locks the preload adjuster

the 3rd one, the one touching the spring is actually the adjuster itself

if you trying to lessen preload with 3 locking collars sandwiched on top of each other, it's not going to happen; but you can always increase preload with 3 locking collars together.

Thank you! Exactly what I needed to know!
