Default stopteck bbk oem wheels

make a long story short... ups damaged my rotors and calipers. filed a claim.

now i have new rotors... and my06 specfic brake lines from stoptech... which i had to custom order. i also had new spacers made from the wheeladaptor.com... which they made on the spot.

now everything works.

i have a clearance of 1.5mm-1.8mm from spoke to caliper. stoptech recommends 2mm.

some other guy on here has a wheel clearance of... 1 creditcard? which is give or take 1 mm.

i like the firmer feel of the new setup. braking is also more consistant.

oh and weight savings... not as much compared to the wilwood units... rotors save about 1lb - 1.5lbs each side... caliper... save about 3lbs? i forgot.... ill have to check.

ill update more later.

you can use 16. but i use 17mm just to be on the safe side. since matt @ stoptech recommended 2mm of clearnace between the wheel and caliper.

regardless i like the way the s2k handle with the wider track. rear doesnt kick out as much.

i would highly recommend any s2k, especially ap1... to add spacers... to widen their track..

Are you running 215/245 tire sizes? Your tires must nearly be flush with your fenders
