ap1 with 18'' and H&R springs setup question
Hi guys i recently bought an ap1 00' with 18'' superlegeras(8&9'' i think) with 225/255 s001 and H&R lowering springs and i would like to prepare it for light trackdays and spirited canyon duties . 50/50 usage
these days I am changing all the front lower arms bushings as time took a toll on them and performing a uk allignment maybe it balances the understeer i feel at turn in. My target is to make it feel as close as a stock cr behaves.
I suppose that for the moment im stuck with these wheels and stock dampers/h&r springs but i can play with tire dimensions (soon to buy federal rsr's) and anti roll bars hoping to make it balanced at turn in and more forgiving at the limit.

Not 0.20 inches, 0.20 degrees total rear toe-in. For your usage camber in the -2 to -3 degree range should be fine. Probably have to max out the front adjustment to get that, and you might just match that in back or you could run more if desired for handling balance.

Thanks for clearing that i cant wait to try it! With the seized bolts/bushings being fixed these days and the allignment next i should see a different car..
What about tire sizes? Im lost on the options i could always stay with the 225/255 but was wondering if i could try something else like 235/255 or even go square with 235/235 or even 245/245 if pushing a 245 to an 8" front wheel isnt a problem

18x8 and 18x9, I'd be looking at either 225/245 or 225/255. I wouldn't worry about square vs. staggered.
