Default Ball Joints

I am replacing all my ball joints after 300k mi of service. Is there a MOOG or other OEM like part that will work for the upper ball joints? I have searched and SPC's are all that come up.

I wouldn't trust Moog joints on this car.

SPC camber joints have worked great for me. But...they require 17" wheels for the rear.

ROCA is a brand that some people have had luck with. But I can't speak about them personally.

All the above (FWIW), are made in China/Taiwan.

Honda sells arms as an assembly because the thin cast iron cavity (in my experience) gets pretty loose after even 1 re-press.

ROCA joints come with snap rings. If re-pressing OEM joints or any retainer-less joint, I would tack weld the joint to the arm to retain it.

However....I'd rather buy new Honda arms or used low mile Honda arms on eBay. That way, your aging bushings get replaced. There's no quality like OEM quality when it comes to ball joints.

For lower joints and tie rod ends, I would absolutely go brand new OEM Honda.

bernardiparts or lots of other OEM dealer sites exist for discounted pricing.

I have heard that the SPC joints could slip? I have spent a lot of time working on my existing arms and getting bushings and such installed, I dont want to buy new ones and start over. Is there a Honda OEM PN for the upper ball joints?

SPC's won't slip unless you drop the car off a cliff. Spindles will bend before the ball joint slips.
**as long as it was installed properly.

Again...Honda only sells upper control arms with ball joints as an assembly. Re-pressing OEM joints is not something that they think is a good idea. And I agree....unless you take proper precautions.

I guess you could buy low mile used arms since they are cheap. And then PROPERLY and CAREFULLY swap the joints into your arms. And tack weld for safety.
