Default Best PERFORMING springs?

So the suspension bug has hit me and i want to get a set of springs. I want something that is more geared towards improving the performance of my s2000, istead of just making it lower. I know a full damper setup is the way to go but i wont be able to afford that this summer so i need something to hold me over! what springs would everyone reccomend for best performance?

Stock? I could be wrong here, but lowering the car (especially with springs only) will only improve the car cosmetically. It could actually make the car worse handling wise as the suspension has less travel and the shocks' travel is reduced. I've contemplated getting springs for my car, but simply can't justify it since the benefit is purely cosmetic.

Don't think any springs alone will improve your handling really. Some might lower it and not reduce the handling though like Eibach. I would go for a set of Koni Yellows and Eibach Pro kit. That is what I have and really like and much more affordable than a quality full coilover set.

eibach pro-kits have a slightly higher rear spring rate than some of the AP2 OEMs and don't slam the car.

I have a '04 and wanted it to rotate a bit more like the AP1s... granted, the pro-kits weren't a huge increase in spring rate, but it does help a little... at least, I'm thinking it is considering I paid $200+ for them

just do a search on spring rates and compare to the year of your car and what's available. from there, make a decision that works best for you.

If you want suspension performance, stay stock or buy coilovers. Springs are for looks only and will upset suspension geometry. This is from someone on Eibachs.

It doesnt matter whether your on lowering springs or coilovers, if you lower your car your geometry will be thrown off.

If you want a more comfortable ride run lowering springs, Coilovers will obviously be better but you will sacrifice comfort.
