I have hawk hps, in my opinion they are alot worse than OEM. They do not have any initial bite and if I hard brake it from 80-0mph, at 80-50mph it feels like the brake wont even grab at all, and then start grabbing from 50-0mhp. One more thing that bothers me now it's I can hardly activate my ABS even with the brake pedal fully pressed

would you consider the hawk hp+ to be an in-betweener for carbotech xp8 & xp10 as far as track use is concerned?
In my experience, the HP+ pads have way more initial bite and overall coefficient of friction than either the XP8 or XP10. BUT, I seriously doubt they're going to be able to handle temps as high as either of those.

In my stock '01 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (somewhat brake intensive), I've never had any issues with them over ~15-20 minute stints.

Everyone looks at Hawk or Carbotech, but the EBC Redstuff pads look to be a solid performer, and there are almost no search results for it. Any thoughts on the EBC's?
