Brake system indicator light (!) on whilst driving
Hi I've recently noticed the Brake system indicator light (!) on whilst driving, does anyone know what the problem could be?
I've checked the brake fluid level and it looks OK and I've had a look at the brake pads and disks both look like they have a lot of life.
Has anyone else had any similar problems? what did you do?
I'm probably going to book it in at Honda once I get paid just wanted a heads up to see if I have an expensive problem or not
Thanks

Mine's been doing this for years. The float in the reservoir sinks and the light comes on.
Up until this year I've been able to pry it up as per devildusts suggestions and it would stay there for a while until it sunk and the light came back on.
Now it wont stay up at all. Cant really explain it but somehow the float has lost its floating capabilities. Seems to be alot of people with this problem.
The service manual states that you need to replace the entire master cylinder if there is something wrong with the reservoir.
It does however look like the reservoir could be bought separately as a spare part but no info on how it's mounted.
Here's my day-old thread where I was looking for help on this problem: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/115...eservoir-only/
