Default castor adjustment issue

Hey all,

I had MY01 alignment done last week and we could not get the camber up front to adjust, so I ordered a Megan Racing camber kit up front ordered and installed. today we did another alignment and we couldn't get castor to adjust. we replaced it again with the original upper control arm from factory and it still wouldn't adjust. anyone had this issue before? any ideas? thanks guys

is your caster adjustment bolt seized? its a common problem that the bushing rips and the seized bolt just spins.

the caster adjustment is a bitch to replace, you would have to drop the subframe cut the bolt out, and burn the old bushing out. Caster adjustment isn't really crucial like camber and toe, all it will do for you is effect how fast your steering returns to centre, as far as handling and tire wear it won't do anything. if the caster reading is within spec (there is a range of acceptable values) then just set the other side which I'm assuming isn't seized to match the side that is stuck.

Hope that helps.
