hawk HPS are not as great as OEM

i cant wait to wear these HPS out and have back the OEM :/

if you are on the street, stick with OEM

even though the HPS has never really disappointed me, they never really met my expectations

Is there something lacking in the OEM pad that you wish to address?

IMO, the OEM pad is great for use on the street - low noise and low dust. Other pads that I have used for autocrossing or for the track work better than OEM in those applications, but dust more and tend to be noisier.

I used the greenstuff once. There was more brake dust than I ever wanted. I switched back to OEM before they were worn.

I installed my front OEM pads today with new OEMs. Wear indicator squeak is finally gone and I can now enjoy driving once again . Upon removal, noticed that pads were nearly non-existant. Caught just in the nick of time.

Thanks to C-3 and the rest that provided good info, it was a breeze!

If you don't track your car, and I mean high speed with lots of hard braking, then you shouldn't get the Redstuff pads. Like I said above, I had the Green ones and they were more aggressive than you'd ever need. The OEM pads are more than good enough for autocross, and you don't have to deal with all the dust.

Reds dust less than Green. I have heard nothing but positive stuff about the Reds for street driving.
