i am also curious about this design flaw? I had an issue with my bump stop but i called KW and they took care of it when i sent in photos and emailed them a copy of my receipt from Evasive.

Well the thing with the KWs is that it is easy to overtighten and strip the set screw on the spring perch, because the perch is basically made out of hard plastic.

I just got my set of V3s this weekend and installed them without any issues, but I could see it happening. One could always take the perch out, drill and tap for the next larger set screw size if this happens.

Your design flaw is the size of the set screw? I've been running my kw3's without the set screw being tight and they have not moved at all. The thing that I'm most annoyed with them is that fact that the perch is plastic and is a pain in the ass to turn when there is just the smallest amount of dirt in the threads.

But to answer your original question, the PSS9's are a good shock. I think better than the v3's. You can get the PSS9's revalved and have a better shock for less than or equal money to the v3's.

Say guest, 4,000+ shocks better than 1,200 dollar shocks?

I just thought that was a funny way of putting it the design flaw into perspective...

keep in mind when you buy coilovers in that price range, make sure they are rebuildable IN the states. Coilovers like HKS hipermax is only serviceable in japan

You must be smoking something. No way the Pss9s are as good or better than the KWv3.

The KWs have amazing ability to absorb and stabilize over bumps during corners. The adjustablity of the Pss9s is a crapshoot. However with the KWv3s its a perfect adjustability with the ability to truly fine tune.
