Default Coilovers / Springs.

I was looking at purchasing the Ground Control Coilovers, and I was looking at RS*R SUS springs.

Anyone have any opinions on this?

No opinions on coilovers yet. Ill have some in a week or so, but on springs I never have been totally satisfied. I had konis w/eibach prokits and now i have espilers on the konis. The eibachs changed the handling a lot for the better IMO but failed to drop it enough. The Espilers are closer to the drop I want, but seem to not match the konis as well and the ride is a bit bouncier.

I like the ability of the coil overs to adjust the height, so i wont have to worry about wheter or not the spring drops it enough or to much.

Im no expert. But ive always wanted the adjustability of coilovers but failed to go that route right off the bat. I wish I had.

FYI the ground control sleeve will work with certain brand of shocks that u ordered it for i believe. which mean if you buy it for your stock shocks it might not work for your aftermarket shocks.this information is base on personal experience from another car that i have GC. but it seem the same since i was gonna order GC and they ask for what kind of shock i will use them with.
with ground control you can choose our own spring rate, and if you ever change your mind about the spring rate you can alway order new one from most places that offer coil spring,as long as it the right size. you can change the car height to your like also. which you cant do with just spring.
i would say you should do research more, and apply what you learn to get the right set up. and have to consider if this will just to lower the car for look or performance.

If you like how the car rides stock and just want an inch drop, do Eibach springs and Koni yellows. But if you want a track setup, spend more money and get some serious coilovers. Check the Official Springs thread for the spring rates before you buy.

I am in the exact same predicament. Now im looking at coilovers to get to replace my eibach pros since they didnt drop it low enough for 18" rims. (gotta roll those fenders too). researching the forums for options now... lol
