CR Coilovers

And the KW V3's aren't necessary for someone who was looking at buying an OEM suspension. Might as well get Ohlins, right?

My intentions aren't for track racing, more for daily driving. but would like to take some twisties if I had the chance. My S is a 03 with about 53K on it. Don't want anything too crazy. My friend suggested a Koni shocks and Tien springs for my car. Do you think that's a good setup? Oh, I don't want to drop the car too much cause in NY the bumps are big and the ramps to some gas stations are pretty high.
Thanks for you suggestions guys. Really appreciate it. =)

I've had bad experiences with Hardtopguy. Be careful if you go this route.

Just type in a 2008 CR as the car you own and order the shocks/springs this way. Or can purchase better springs from Swift if you want to go a little lower.

MY00-01 have very stiff rear springs and similar spec shocks to the CR. On the other hand the front is very soft and inadequate. So if you want a cheap, effective suspension upgrade you can just get the front CR components. Many members have done that with great results. I just assumed he was going that direction as he mentioned his front right is squeaking.
How about looking into C/R shocks/struts and mating them with Ground Control coilover springs(with custom spring rates that are on the C/R). Then its a C/R spec'd full coilover system that is height adjustable. Just an idea.
It should perform the same as a stock C/R S2000...With the exception of being able to adjust the height of the car at will.
I also strongly encourage people to pick up the June 2008 edition of the sport compact car magazine, it has some nice shock dyno's of an 02-03 ap1, ap2, CR and about 7-8 aftermarket coilovers. I was pleasntly surprised to see how some aftermarket shocks have lower compression damping in the front when compared to the CR's.
