CR owners..yay? or nay? CR suspension
Any opinions on the CR suspension setup versus stock?
Considering installing CR springs/dampers/swaybars to
my 'Ap2('06)...is it $$$$ well invested?
Would be roughly $1100 installed out-the-door down-the-road.
thanks....
unless you flame me

The CR suspension was 6 seconds faster than stock ap2 using same tires on both vehicles according to modified/sport compact car mag at buttonwillow/willowsprings don't recall which.
I love my CR but I don't think it's 6 sec faster all things =.

That sounds like way to much faster for the same tires. Were the drivers the same also.

The CR suspension is nice but I can't see spending that much money and end up with a large fender gap.
I have a CR front bar and my stock rear bar with bilstein PSS's and for the money I think it's a better buy.
I do think that the CR suspension is damped well, I don't think it's damped as well as the bilsteins are. The PSS's can be had for like 900 bucks.

I see them listed at TireRack for $1050.
And..with the CR FSB are you cornering "flat" now?
Did keeping stock RSB help keep rear end from kicking-out?
The Bilsteins do sound like a great alternative...you can keep
at stock height or lower to -35mm.
Guessing your car is now racy and comfy?
And I like that the Bilsteins are just height adjustable..sounds like
a full time job trying to properly adjust damping etc.
Especially if you have no interest in racing/autox.
thanks again!
