Default CR Suspension vs. Stock AP2

I'm looking into buying the full CR suspension from HardTopGuy. I heard from someone that, in comparison to the stock suspension on my '07 AP2, the CR suspension will sit slightly lower. Is this true? If so, how much lower is the CR suspension than that of a stock AP2? I'm hoping to pair the new suspension with a new wheel set up so I'm trying to figure out all the details with height, offsets, etc. I appreciate your input. Thanks guys.

I think the cr sits 1" lower than an ap2. But I read that some ppl experienced a raised front height and lower rear height after the cr conversion.

i would believe that.. my gap on the front is noticeably bigger than the back on my CR.

It's nowhere near 1", but I do think it's a bit lower. FWIW, I measured the CR shock bodies at 10mm shorter than base in front, and 5mm shorter in rear; but ride height also depends on the precise height of the spring perches on the shock body (which I haven't yet measured), and of course on the spring rates. So, for example, putting CR springs on base model shocks will raise the ride height due to the higher spring rate.

You might ask in the CR forum; at least a couple people there own both standard and CR cars.

The CR setup is a complete waste, especially if you buy new from hard top guy like I did. Save the money and spend it on an adjustable suspension.

A couple of questions, if you don't mind.
Why didn't you like the CR setup? Was it you couldn't adjust it for bumpy or wet roads or when you wanted to cruise at 75mph on the highway?
Second question, may I ask how much did you get for the 4 coilovers?

I paid $1100 I think. For the price it is a very expensive non adjustable coil over. I wish I would have saved the money towards my current setup.

I think the CR front end sits a little higher if anything. Maybe due to the stiffer springs?
