Default Front Sway Bar Question

I was wondering if anyone out there had tried both the Whiteline front sway bar vs the CR front sway bar. I have the CR bar now but was wondering if it was worth the upgrade. I'm getting ready to go to a non staggered wheel and tire set up. 17x9 with either a 245/40/17 or a 255/40/17 all around and have read that this will make the car want to oversteer more. A stiffer front sway bar and possibly removing the rear should help with this but I want to know is it worth the money for me to change? Or are there any other suggestion on sway bars? I have a my02 just in case that would make a difference.

I'd like to know this too, and vs the Eibach. I just started running 255's all around and need something to even out the oversteer. I'd get a Saner but they are not made anymore. I don't think Eibach or Whiteline would be enough to fully even out the oversteer of non-staggered, but they should help a bit.

I brought up the whiteline because that's what modiq ran on their project s2000 with 245's all around.

I just ordered a Whiteline bar from here http://autoplicity.com/products/2731...-sway-bar.aspx for ~$165 shipped. I see a good amount of non-staggered people run this bar and they seem to like it. Not as stiff as Saner, but oh well.

But how does it compare to the CR sway bar? I already have that one now so I don't want to waste the money on a new one if its not gonna be an upgrade.

alignment specs are very important to this discussion.

Cr bar has a rating of 392lb/in, same as 00/01 bar. Whiteline is 50% stiffer than stock. If you take the softest oem bar at 300lb/in, the whiteline will be at least 450lb/in or as much as 588lb/in, depending on what the 50% stiffer is based off of.

Not sure what alignment will be yet but I want to keep it as close to stock as possible.

What about the car's handling makes you want a stiffer front bar? If you're using the stock alignment, you're probably not doing any performance driving (auto-x, lapping, HPDEs, etc.), so what's the justification for a stiffer front anti-roll bar? If you don't mind a little extra body roll, why not just disconnect the rear anti-roll bar and save some money? Not trying to offend...just bringing up a few aspects to think about...

My 2 cents.

Make sure you buy shaft collars so the bar doesn't swing side to side on lateral loads.
