Has anyone got experience with the Tarox 10-pot front brake kit?

For the record:
Criteria of Pursuit
Must function using OEM wheels
Must have not less than 4 pistons
Products that qualify = Tarox 6 or Tarox 10
Experience
Have been working on mechanical and hydraulic braking systems since during the Eisenhower administration.
Edit.............Based upon past experience I shall not ever again do business with the Wilwood organization.

How about a spoon caliper with a small spacer then? If you're such an experienced braking systems engineer you should have an appreciation of the importance of high quality brake rotors and calipers. Why exactly do you have the criteria of 4+ Pistons? The OEM calipers are superb for everything other than hard track driving where the only reason you really need to replace them is for larger pad area. I would be shocked if the Tarox could fit under OEM wheels without spacers as the OEM wheels have very little clearance and there is no spacer to move the rotor inwards due to the lower ball joint/tie rod. Any fixed piston caliper will stick farther out that the OEM floating caliper and thus require spacers. Once you add spacers then you might as well go with a proven front brake kit such as AP (comp or street kit), Stoptech, etc.

And is there any wonder why after over 8,000 posts on this forum since 2001 that I have virtually left in favor of Facebook? Is there any wonder why I now call this site totally juvenile?
I am not here to justify my criteria.
I am here to get any EXPERIENCED information on the product that I have identified. Nothing more. Nothing less. All of the local experts can stick decision making advice where the sun don't shine. I have made my decision and do not wish to reconsider it under any circumstances.

Saw some on a mx5 at a track day, driver said he loved them but needed custom work to get right (master cylinder?). They had been reliable & fade free in endurance races for multiple years. Please follow up with your experience here, it is always interesting to see people breaking new ground on such a mature platform.

OP, have you looked through this thread: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/997...ox-or-wilwood/
Few guys in there who have run/know someone with the tarox kit. There are even pics on an S

I have a Tarox 6-pot kit coming in a few weeks. I'll report back on it after some use. The folks that I got information from in the UK say that the 10-pot (now converted to an 8-pot caliper in the new kits) is only marginally, if any, better than the 6-pot kit. These kits are not plentiful. So, data is limited.

I'll keep you posted, Brett. They should be here in mid-June and I'll drive them for a bit after the install before reporting.
