The OEM suspension is coilovers, just not adjustable. I see you've already spent a bunch of money. There are used OEM suspension parts on Ebay every day with, no doubt, much lower mileage than on your car. We fitted 2002 OEM springs all around to a buddy's '02 which had been buggered lowered by a former owner. Fairly easy process and inexpensive.

Thanks, I'm the second owner of this car and have owned it for 11 years. I had stock suspension with springs for about half that time and then went with the buddy clubs. I wasn't interested in going back to a factory suspension. Sure I spent a "lot of money" but clearly I drive my car a lot so spending the money to keep it top notch is worth it to me vs buying second hand.

Buddy club are a very sound choice, however N+ leave some to be desired with ride/control. Its worth the extra money to step up to their mid level Race spec. I have been an extremely satisfied user of a set with about 150k miles now with no rebuild needed/weepy seals during this time. Very durable, fuss free, no maintenance and quite a compliant and usable coilover with a wide damping range for street and track. I've run them through their paces in both environments. They come with a 10k spring rate all around. After about the 100k mark I upped the spring rate to some swift 14k all around as the max recommended and they worked beautifully! A standard rebuild on these from Buddy club is $125 each they told me when I looked into it, that's if you ever can rack up the miles enough to need it. Id say as for a mid level single adjustable option for the money they should be right at the very top of the list in my experience. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another set. personally I would avoid KW or Ohlins if you like racking up the miles like I do and want to install coilovers and basically forget about them, rather then dealing with rebuilds every or every other year. Not worth it to me.

Pss9 are a nice option for street comfort, but not track duty. So I would avoid these if you want to improve the handling over stock. They will be a short coming on the track.

The Buddy Club N+ impressed me with the amount of abuse and how they've held up over 100k+ miles without leaking ect. I'd def consider them again but I figured I'd give the HKS a try.

Well its interesting to hear that N+ quality/reliability is also there from your experience. I know they just aren't as high level of a performer as the race spec, so for a bit more money you can keep that longevity but up the performance if thats the direction you want to go in. Other coilovers seem like a crap shoot to me, possibly giving up one of those things to get the other. I consider the Buddy clubs sort of the Enkie rpf1 of colovers lol.
