KW clubsports for S2k

Hi, I've been researching on where to buy a set of these nice coilovers. I've looked on reputable sites but all list for $3.399, on tirerack its $3.099 & amazon its $3.039, would you think tirerack its reputable in selling great suspension components. Prices vary so much, its hard to tell whether some places are scams or some other excluded info not listed. Anyone with suggestions on where to purchase a set for reasonable price & reputable, please feel free to comment. Thanks! :D

A lot of places only advertise MSRP due to pricing restrictions from manufacturer. Usually their actual price is much lower. Call or PM some of the reputable vendors (Evasive, GoTuning, Kami Speed, Moddiction, etc) and see what kind of pricing you can get. Tirerack is extremely reputable of course but I suspect you could do better on the price.

Why spend that much when the Ohlins are $2300?

Because out of the box the KW's have a higher spring rate and are a little more track focused (more aggressive valving), not to mention they are a true double adjustable.

Through a connection I pad $2,700 for my KW Clubsports. Its possible to find them for even cheaper than that I believe. Make some calls and shop around.

you're better off getting KW V3/Ohlins DFV or going higher end

the KW Clubsports aren't a good value compared to the V3/DFV IMO

We don't even know if the OP wants to track his car.

I think I paid $2400 during a group buy on the forum shipped for the Clubsports I had. They might be a true two-way, but the OP really needs to ask himself: Do I need 2 way adjustability? The stock spring rates are only higher in the rear, IIRC it's 10kg/mm square vs the DFV @ 10/8 setup. Being on a square setup, I prefer the lower spring rate in the rear to get the ass to squat on corner exits.

Since we're off topic anyway....

I think a chicken sandwich is a better value than a fish sandwich. Lets race the two and compare times to digest each.
