KW V3 vs Megan/BC/Buddy Club etc
I'm having second thoughts on doing my purchase. I've recently inquired about getting some KW V3s, but I've been thinking... Should I be purchasing these when I wouldn't be going to the track more than a couple times a month?
From what everyone has said, the V3's are amazing but should I be purchasing something that I won't be using to it's full potential? Would I be happier going with say BC racing coilovers or a Megan street suspension? I want something I can drop with no finger gap, have good handling characteristics, and not worry about breaking on me in the future...
As far as dropping it, I want to be able to get it as low as possible. I haven't seen any pics with cars dropped on KW V3's since the search has been down, hence why I'm posting. Local buddy that I see at the meets in dropped fully on Megan tracks and it looks amazing (s2k medic)
I'm looking at ...
Volk CE28N 17x9.5 +35 all around
(I know I'll have to get fender work done)
So far my candidates are as follows, they will change according to the responses:
KW V3s
BC Racing
Megan Track
Tein Flex (tossed this one up just in-case)
Thanks for any feedback!

In my experience, there is one area where you shouldn't skimp. It's the where the money is best spent. The KW Variant 3 is in a different league compared to the other dampers listed. We have these in stock if you are interested.

I've had a couple different suspension setups and have settled on the KW V3's. These are the best for the money. They can be slammed, but from a performance standards, they shouldn't be.

Appreciate the feedback. Are there any noticeable differences between the KW V3's compared to others I mentioned aside from reputation and quality factor?

i am and have been looking into suspension for a while, the way i see it, get the best the first time out,...i know its an extra grand in price, but you wont be replacing them and spending twice as much the second time around. its like good tires, its good to have the best all the time, even if you are not using it to its "full potential" most of the time.

The megan and BC racing coilovers perform quite a bit worse than stock, where the KWs are better.
What are your goals? if you want to lower the car on the cheap, get PSS9s. They are fantastic.

get the cheapest set, megan's perhaps. Since you're going for looks rather then performance.
