Default KYB Top hats

Hello All,

Anybody try the KYB top hats?? I ordered some KW V3's and need to get some top hats.(sold them with my stock suspension DOH!!). I am curious because I searched and couldn't find any info which is kind of telling me to just wait for a oem set in the marketplace.

any input would be great
thanks

What about ground control spherical top hats

Are you looking for performance or comfort?

The top hats are the same for Civic, Del sol Integra 94-99, S2000 all years and crv. The difference is in the isolator bushings. The Integra type r has the stiffest bushings out of the bunch.

Interesting, is it part #1? looks like even the CR has the same part number for s2ks. This is what I found as the ITR part number: 51631-SL0-901
Has anyone considered upgrading the top hat to this component? I'm almost amazed mugen/spoon didn't figure this out and slap the jdm tax on us.

Yep, on the S and Integra type r they're metal reinforced. The Integra one uses more metal. I have them on my top hats. I bought used top hats and didn't like the look of the bushings so I went ahead and got them. I've only driven a stock Ap2 to compare to so can't really comment on any difference.

just bought those type r bushing ( thanks for the part #'s gptoyz!!!), well see how it goes, I wont be able to compare to stock though because I haven't used stock top hats for years. got them for ~$9 at AutoNation parts direct.
