Default megan track coilovers

Im planning to buy new coilovers soon. From what I gather these are stiffer than stock, lighter than stock (about 10lbs all around) good. I mostly weekend drive my S and down the road I might try a track day or two, no hardcore tracking though. Will these be the best bet? Any complaints or compliments for them?

That tends to happen a lot on this forum. People offer their "feedback" on parts they have never owned.

I liked my Megan Tracks. They are pretty stiff in terms of valving so I would recommend the Megan Streets since they are not as stiff if you will daily driving. I would recommend to go to a local meet and ask for a ride if someone has them on their S2K. That way you can get a feel for how they are. I did that and drove several S2Ks with Megan, Buddy Club, Tein, etc. Hope this helps and good luck.

If your going to spend the money on Megans, I would say save up a little more and get the Fortune's. They can valve to your specs and setup. They actually put in a little R&D into their products where Megan and BC would have factory settings from China.

I have them. and i like them. I've had them on 2 cars for quite a few miles and they have been great. they really aren't that stiff. they are worlds better than megan EZ streets.

i have never tracked my car. but for driving around town they have been great as well as their longevity so far. (only 10k miles)

*waiting for "reapur" to come in here and say buy KW V3'S or sell your S as it doesn't deserve anything less*

I have these currently. FWIW, they're the first set of coilovers I've driven on. I had an 05 sti lowered on 'mild' springs before.

I find them to be pretty stiff. Stiff enough for me to go down to a half inch of clearance if I wanted. They're not overkill, but what annoys me more is they don't have the rebound to match their springrates.

If I had the choice I'd probably go a little softer, and better tuned than these. Even if it was an extra few hundred

i just installed my megan ez streets. got them for a really cheap price so i thought why not? for the price i paid, they are wonderful. i know youre asking about the track versions, but i believe its just a higher spring rate. the ez streets are very comfortable and i have them on full hard setting.

I actually know the company who makes fortune auto coilovers in Taiwan
I have also been to the factory of BC racing which is in a totally different company to K-Sport and D2 also owned by different people
However Megan Racing coilovers are made by BC Racing

Which ever way you go I bet you right now they all will perform the same unless you plan to spend big bucks on something like KW, Ohlins, Nitrons etc
