Or, is it possible to ordered them with custom spring rates directly from Öhlins?
The front dampers are much longer than the rears so it's not possible to change them front to rear.
Springs do fit both places though.

...and especially with adjustable dampers you can get away with some amount of changing spring rate without revalving.

But to swap front and rear springs with this much disparity without revalving seems a bridge too far.

Revalving ups the cost considerably. What was a tremendous value off the shelf for what you got (the previous Ohlins at the $2k price), suddenly starts becoming less and less appealing if you want to change rates and revalve.

I totally agree, 4k difference is too much to just change them without revalving, my question was more whether you can order directly to factory with different springs through the Öhlins distributors.

From what sakebomb has said is that the valving has def changed and is different from from the previous kit.

I'm far from a suspension expert (complete opposite in fact lol) but I did buy a set of the MI-21's for my car in the spring (road car) and I'm more than happy with the purchase. I have confidence in the engineering and expertise of Ohlins to produce a solid product.

Hi,

I would really like to know what material they use for the Nylon rings,

ID: 64.6mm
OD: 84mm
Thickness: 2mm

Could somebody do me favor and weigh/measure one of the rings for me.
Based on the dimensions and my calculations they should weigh around 5-6grams:
PA6: 5.0 grams
filled with 20% carbon fibers: 5.5 grams
filled with at least 25% glass fibers: >6.0grams

Thank you for your help.

Wonder if they will take back the newer kits now. Have the brand new 11k/7k kit waiting to be installed in the spring... now they switch back wtf?
