Default OEM vs Koni Sports on Eibach Pros

Hey all, I went from OEM to the Koni Sport/Eibach pro set up and ended up setting my Konis to full firm to get the car handling how I like. Of course, the ride is stiff now.

For reference, does anyone know how this set up compares with OEM (Showa) dampers and Eibach Pros? Would setting the Konis to something other than full firm give me more of a stock feel?

Generally, what settings do people like to set their Konis at?

TIA

Curious about this as well as I'm about to put on the same setup in the coming weeks. Did you use the upper or lower perch on the konis? Don't mean to get off topic but have any pics?

I can tell you that the OEM shocks are not setup for aftermarket springs (yes, you can run them but its not ideal). The OEM shocks are valved to support the OE spring rates, making that setup work less than ideal compared to the Koni's. The Koni's are suited to handle an OE spring or aftermarket springs and the give you dampening adjustability.

As for setting the Koni's when I had them I never set them to full stiff because I didn't want to damaged the shocks. I would set them at least a hair off full stiff to prevent premature failure. Yes, you would also get more shock feel.

I've had 01 stock set up and then put in Eibach 1" pro kit, and it looks much better and still keeps that OEM feel. I read many post that say OEM struts are ment for OEM springs, but I have no complaints here.

Only other setup I have are Buddy Club Racing Spec coilovers.

I went back to my OEM with Eibach due to construction work in the area.
