Yeah we tested that wheel and the template was very close. Though, templates do have some variance to them. So a real world application could very well work, but cannot guarantee.
We did however just get in a set of TE37 Saga 17x9.0 +61 and those cleared the ST40 328mm template with about 2-3mm of space which is good:
Just finished mounting my ST40 kit! Learned something that might be useful: The stoptech rotor hat is about 1.75mm thicker than the stock rotor, so it will decrease your wheel offset by that amount (like adding a 1.75mm spacer). This can make a difference if, like me, you need a small spacer to clear the brakes (TSW Interlagos needs a 2mm spacer for 2mm of clearance to the caliper) and you were expecting to have sufficient sufficient turns on the stock wheel studs with regular lug nuts. (Also a bit frustrating because I explicitly asked Evasive motorsports whether the thickness was different from stock, and they passed the question on to Centric/Stoptech, who said no.)
Anyway, the problem can be solved with extended thread lug nuts (or extended wheel studs, obviously), but just something to be aware of! If you don't have spacers the 1.7mm increase will be fine with the stock stud length, of course.
Also for what it's worth I weighed the stock vs Stoptech rotors, calipers, and (new) pads. These are the numbers I came up with:
Rotor:
Stock = 14.2lb, Stoptech = 14.6lb
Caliper (no pads):
Stock = 9.8lb, Stoptech = 7.6lb
Pads:
Stoptech sport pads in stock size = 1.6lb, G-Loc pads for Stoptech caliper = 2.4lb
So caliper with pads you save 1.4lb, and rotor gains 0.4lb (although more in terms of rotational inertia I assume, since the 2-piece rotor carries more weight toward the outside). Still, not bad given the difference in capabilities. Also, those were all with a (decent) bathroom scale, so they're probably at least +/- 0.2lb, maybe more.

So is that mean CE28 17x9 +63 likely need a spacer if install Stoptech trophy?
Does anyone know if 17x10 +45 Ce28n will clear a REAR StopTech Trophy kit? I know it doesn't up front, but looking to add both front and rear bbk and don't want to get rid of my concave 17x10 +45 bronze CE's...ever! lol
I looked at my rears today with the CE's mounted and notice there's is about 1" more space between the OEM rotors/calipers to wheels on the rears vs the fronts which I know need a spacer. That's why I'm very curious to know if the rears will clear. Is there a template available for the Stoptech Trophy rears bbk that I can maybe use???

What caliper? I'm assuming it's the ST-22 caliper?
