At stock ride height you'll be fine.

Please email or call us ASAP, as the price is going up TOMORROW. We are one thousand percent swamped with suspension requests right now and the phone (literally) is ringing off the hook with 100 emails to respond to. 510-356-5556 is the shop cell (call or text - text might be better now since we can't get through all the calls as it is).

The rear cups have no effect on the recommended preload.

Calculate preload based on sprung forces, spring rate, and desired free travel.

Then set the cup height to increase/reduce ride height.

Is revalving required, if you go from a 8k spring to a 10k in the rear?

Valving isn't necessary for a jump like that, 12kg front and 10kg rear is a great combo for the Vanilla DFV's.
