Ohlins R&T and driveshaft spacers

Ohlins R&T and driveshaft spacers
Hi all,
I am seeking avdice concerning the installation of Ohlins R&T.
I have a 2002 S with 75 miles, full oem except 17’ wheels (with 17 oem size tires). Street use only.
Ride height and geometry are currently stock. Geometry should remain stock after installation unless it is recommendable to change it.
Installation of Ohlins will result in a 1 inch (25 mm) drop if I follow Ohlins instructions which I would like to do. Car will be corner balanced.
My purpose, as many of us, is to improve handling, comfort and feeling. I do not want to adversely affect my car.
Is it negative to install driveshaft spacers?
according to js racing website (In relation to 10mm spacer):
“The product is to be used for S2000 with the ride height reduced more than 30mm.
(Please do not use this item for S2000 with the stock height)”
J'S RACING Drive shaft spacer - J'S RACING USA
I know the trick with inversion of cv. For whatever reason, I have one single time slot to mod the car and I need to decide whether or not I should install spacers. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance

"Need" is defined by reason. People use driveshaft spacers for different reasons.
Generally....if your axles aint shakin, don't go spacin'.
^^BTW, don't forget where you first saw that MASSIVELY clever phrasing.

Hahaha nice. And if they are shakin' then go swappin' the CV buckets around. I may do this soon since I did not do it after my Koni/Tein install and I do feel vibration from time to time but that's mostly road dependent.

I ran my Ohlins with a 1in drop for a year before I started getting vibration. Installed some Hardrace spacers and everything went back to normal. Easy install, and there's no need for them until you get vibrations.
