Default Opinions on rotor/pad sets

My newly acquired 2001 with 80k miles is due for rear brakes as the discs are showing wear. The last service records from 70k miles indicate there were 25% left. I want to replace all four corners since it will be in my home garage anyway and I want to start fresh. I was looking on Amazon for kits and found the two below:
R1 Concepts R1 Concepts
or
Powersport Powersport

I am curious if anyone has experience with these kits? This seems pretty budget minded but I also wonder if they are good enough on a stock S2000. I would prefer a set that is corrosion resistant for looks but I realize that is asking a lot on a budget.

I should mention that this is just a stock street driver.

Id just shop rockauto.

Cheapest blank rotors you can find and coat them yourself.
Or centric coated ones for corrosion resistance.
Or drilled slotted ones if u like the looks.

Centric (or similar) semi metallic pads.
Or Stoptech Sport (309 part number) pads.
AP2 semi metallic pads from Honda.

Stay away from ceramic pads.

Thanks a lot. I wasn't aware of ceramic pads not being ideal for these cars.

If you want a slightly upgraded pad/rotor combo go for the Stoptech combo of slotted Stoptech (Centric) rotors with Stoptech Sport pads.

Ceramics are not ideal for cars.

I have Centric rotors and Winmax pads and I love them. The two you listed do not have a coating on the rotor hat like the Centrics and will look ugly when they rust.

I really appreciate the input from everyone. I have pretty much decided to spend more and go with the slotted Centrics with the e-coat and stoptech pads. It came to about $325 in my rockauto cart but I think it is worth it. I am glad I asked for opinions here! It would have been dumb to cheap out on brakes on an otherwise pristine car that deserves good brakes.

I got the back done so far and it was pretty easy EXCEPT for the screws holding the rotors on. I tried everything and didn't want to drill them out so I ran to Harbor Freight and got a cheap hand impact driver. Those things are magic. I plan on finishing the fronts this evening since I ran out of time, not expecting to be defeated by screws. I know you don't really need them but .....

You will probably need the impact on the front rotor screws as well. On mine fronts were more difficult than rears. The bit on the HF impact hammer thing broke on the last front screw. I mamaged to get it off without having to buy a second HF impact tool.
