Opinions on rotor/pad sets

You aren't kidding. The front screws were a bear to get out. The tool held up but it took a lot of hammering. Harbor freight is great when you need a purpose built tool and don't want to spend a lot of money, that's for sure. I even bought their five dollar caliper piston compressor and it worked great. I used to use a C clamp but this works a lot better.I'm going to take it out for a drive today but I think everything is going to be just fine. Kind of interested to see how these stoptech pads perform. I was just aiming for a little better than stock with really nice looking rotors.

I got them bedded in and they are really nice. I'm just glad to get them done. I was actually surprised at how much pad was left on the old pads. The previous owner's service receipt from 12k ago said they had 25% left after inspection. Anyhow, I like having decent brakes that were budget friendly and will stay looking nice.
