Default Project Mu Club Racer Advanced?

It looks like there are now two Club Racer options for the front pads on the S2000: an "Advanced" compound, and the old compound. I am running the old compound and find it works well as a dual-duty street/DE pad. The dust is easy to clean, non-abrasive, and the fade resistance is good, and am looking for more of the same.

Is the old compound being phased out in preparation for the advanced compound, and does anyone have any info on differences between the two?

Thanks!

old one has been discontinued. "Advanced " is basically to address the high heat that the s2000 creates during braking. its a different compound with same bite, but will not crumble or crack under severe heat.

Got it. Do you know if the dust corrosiveness, rotor wear, or cold bite characteristics have changed?

The advanced is very similar to the original compound except it deals with high temps better than the original compound- as Evasive brought up the original had some crumbling issues with some owners and the sole purpose of the advanced compound is to address that. It was not a major compound reformulation so all the positive attributes from the original (relatively little dust output, non corrosive dust, high cold bite etc.) are all still present in the new compound.
