Quality coilover for a daily driven S
Wanted to pose the question....which I'm sure has probably been answered, but I'm looking for a good set of coilovers for a mostly daily driven S2k. I want good adjustability for a stock type ride on the streets daily, to something pretty firm for HPDE type events or weekend mountain runs. I'm also looking to keep the stock ride height, possibly a small drop of 1/2 inch or so. I know some coilovers have a max height that is a bigger drop than I want.
Most important is the quality, something that has a long service life on a daily driver before a rebuild/recharge is necessary. I don't mind spending the money to get a good coilover, and having the car corner ballanced.....I just don't want to have to do it often.
Thanks

The Bilstein PSS9 has been reviewed as being very street-friendly. They are rebound adjustable, sturdy, and allow you to keep close to stock height if so desired. They also are firmer than OEM so they're a bit more composed on the track.

I don't believe you have to lower it that much. There is a range of acceptable ride heights. I'd talk to Tire Rack and see what that range is.
This is right in line with what I'm looking for.
