Default Raceland Coilover Consideration

Anyone know anything about these RacelandUs coils? I need to ball on a budget here.

Currently sitting on Skunk 2 springs with busted shocks from the previous owner so I think anything would be an upgrade, plus I would rather spend 500 on coil overs than 1000+ on shocks...

Here is the link. http://www.racelandus.com/coilovers/...coilovers.html

Please, do not do this. If your current dampers are shot and you're low on funds, just pick up another set of oem dampers. You can find low mileage ones for cheap.

You may consider Koni yellows with ground control perches and Eibach springs if you're on a budget. Or, try to find a used set of Bilsteins.

You will be much better off with a used set of buddy club n+, or even those Fortune 500 ones.

Until you start getting into the $2000+ coilover systems from respected mfr's you're not going to do better than Koni/GC. Even then, custom valved koni SPSS are probably just as competitive until you start getting into the fancier 2-way adjustables.

If you like your ride ht. on the lowering springs you've got, just get a set of yellows and call it a day.

i had raceland before...i loved them for the price BACK THEN! when it was about 250 for a set. RIDE QUALITY IS SHIT. but it was better then what i had which was 22yrs old suspension on my miata. for 470 i wouldnt even bother looking at them.

I say if you are really on a budget but want coilovers, at least get megans. or just hold out and save up to get what the others recommended. i got bc racing and they are great so far for $900
