Default Replacement discs Dixcel/Brembo or just OEM?

Old brake discs are starting to make some noise lately so they'll need replacing soon.
I would love to upgrade them but due to stupid laws and regulations here in Belgium we can't use slotted/drilled discs.

So I was looking for OEM replacements and found out there's a special offer on Dixcel plain discs atm.
Are they any good? Anyone used them? Do they last as long as the OEM ones (normal street use)?

ATM they're cheaper compared to OEM replacements from Honda, €300 for Dixcel plain discs and €340 for OEM S2000 discs.

And should I get the Dixcel brake pads as well?

Just buy blanks. Drilled rotors actually offer worse performance as compared to blanks. Slots help...but only slightly.

OEM blanks, parts store blanks. Just...blanks.

I have never heard of Dixcel, so I can't give much in line with recommendations. Most of the companies we get in the states are probably different from your options. If it is a quality blank, it should be fine. Cheap Chinese rotors (like pwjdm) are the only ones that have had issues. There is nothing special about the oem rotors.
As far as pads go, it would be your call. If the Dixcel is designed for higher bite and heat range, it should be a good upgrade. Most performance based pads are an improvement over stock. All the part store pads that are cheaper or advertise less brake dust usually end in severly subpar performance compared to oem.

^ Thanks. I'm only interested in them because atm they're cheaper compared to OEM (which are Brembo plains I've been told).

Dixcel is Japanese and in Europe they are only available through Spoon dealers I believe.
If you buy Spoon calipers here you can also have a package with the Dixcel high carbon brake discs.
I think they're a big name in Japan but not so much around here and in the USA.

The rotors are bad only if they're too thin, or are warped, have excessive run-out or have cracks in them(you'll feel horrible pulsation on the breaks). You can re-use the rotors if you experience non of those symptoms. You can get away with only changing pads, I do, I'm kind on rotors so I don't even bother re-surfacing them. Slowing down is only for finding proper entry angles.

I buy a new pair of cheap blanks with every pad change. I have never ever had a warped rotor....and I doubt anyone else has either.
