i replaced my OEM rotors with SoS "J" slots 3 weeks ago. I only have about 300 miles on them so far. Looking at the research they did and the temperature difference VS OEM rotors was my reason for going to them. I am using Hawk HPS front pads n OEM rears and they have good bite. I have done several stops from +/- 100 and they feel good. I rode with a friend when he bedded his Ferrari F430's brakes (since he has done it before) andfollowed the same procedure to bed mine. So far

Im running DBA 4000 Wiperslots. Tracked them with EBC Green pads which are quiet but have great bite with only a small amount of fade after lots of abuse. The vibrations you have are due to you warping your rotors from extreme heat cycling. They may have gotten wet while really hot and warped/cracked, this is the most common problem.

The DBA Rotors area really high quality piece, and you can just feel and see the quality from the packaging to the way they feel in your hands before you install them. Had them on since june and still smooth as silk, with no scoring or cracks in the friction surface.

I had those on my s4 and they were great. But thanks for the info, so on EBC's line it goes from green being moderate and red being aggressive and yellow being in the middle?

Yellows are a pretty new pad, they havnt been out long, they're supposed to be track ready with street able manners.

I assume you're asking about the Speed Engineering J Slot Directional Vane rotors? Check out the long term update here:
