SS brake lines improve feel and responsiveness, which will improve braking, but they don't add any clamping power and as long as you can lock your wheels or get abs to kick in, brakes are not the limiting factor anyways (the tires are). Just ebay any DOT approved brake line.

Have you tried changing out your brake fluid?

What is wrong with your current rubber ones?

Nothing is wrong with my brakes. New fluid fresh pads and all. I just never had SS lines on any of my cars and recently overheard someone going off on how much of a difference the SS lines made on his 911. I didn't want to ask him when I can ask all of you guys instead. I'm sold and will order a set from that above post for $100. Thanks for the feedback.

I put a set of Goodridge brake lines on my wife's Z. Now anytime she drives any other car she will cry about the brakes. I have to admit it feels a lot better and inspires confidence. I'll put a set on the S too.

Big for the SOS line kit. No hassle easy install and you will notice a good difference in pedal feel.

OE lines can swell from the pressure, stainless lines seem to resist this swelling and is where you'll get that tighter feel from.
