Stock suspension bottom nut welded-on.
I'm in the process of putting in my coilovers and found that the stock suspensions have the bottom nuts welded on. Can someone verify which of the below nut size is correct?
12mm x 1.75 METRIC
and I found somewhere that it's 12mm x 1.025 .
I've also read that the welded-on nut can possibly be torque'd off - is it possible?

Out of the service manual I found 2 sizes. In 2 places it says 10x1.25 and the other is 12x1.25. I am going to put in my coilovers on Sunday too and was just going to buy 4 of each size and return the one that doesn't work.

Looks like the first 2 diagrams are of the rear suspension assembly, while the 3rd one is the front suspension. Could it be, M10 x 1.25 for the fronts, and M12 x 1.25 for the rear...

I'm going to be installing some coilovers as well, do I absolutely have to buy these new bolts are these specifically because theirs a problem with your old bolts?

You can reuse your original bolts. I think OP was asking about the nut. The OEM dampers have the nut welded on the lower mount. Some aftermarket coilovers come with an integrated nut. If not, most of them supply the required nut.

That's what I was thinking. It's just confusing with the first 2 pictures being the same part but different sizes in different places.
