Stoptech Rotors vs Centric Premiums

Hi All,

I need to replace my front brakes and I wanted to see what you guys thought as you may have had experience with both. I am aware that Stoptech is owned by Centric now and was wondering if there was any difference in the quality.

The current setup I'm looking to obtain from Evasive Motorsports is:
Stoptech Blanks
Stoptech Brake Pads

My second option would be:
Centric Premiums
OEM Honda Pads or Stoptech Brake Pads

Thanks All!

I'm a fan of OEM pads as far as rotors go I'm not really sure but centric does own Stoptech so the centric premiums might be the same thing.

Thats what I figured. I think my best bet is probably Stoptech blanks with OEM pads.

Honda made the pads that way for a reason.

Centric and Stoptech are the same company.

I'm using stoptech slotted in the rear. Have done countless track days on em, and they are still going strong.

I have also used centric. For a street driven vehicle, you can't go wrong with either. Also, you can stick to OEM pads for street. I've tried the stoptech performance pad, and they are pretty decent, especially for the price. I'd say they bite a tad better than stock, but dust a bit more.

Thanks for the recommendations.

I'm going with Stoptech Rotors, Honda OEM Pads, and Stoptech braided lines.

I'm going to be doing my drivers side door actuator also :banghead:

I've recently purchased some Centric Premium rotors (wanted to keep OEM blank single piece look), Stoptech braided lines and Ferodo pads. Apparently the Ferodo pads should offer a bit more bite than the OEM ones. I don't plan on tracking the car so anything slightly better than OEM works for me. Will share experience once installed if there is a meaningful difference.

If anyone has any ideas on caliper upgrades front and rear where I can keep the stock AP2 rims I would be all ears!
