Street pads with more initial bite?

Geez. I think everyone heard you.
Disclaimer on behalf of myself: I have already said, "difference of opinion." It's ok to disagree...
Disclaimer on behalf of everyone else: No one here is saying you're wrong...if that makes any difference to you.
All a bunch of us did was recommend ST sports which you seem to be offended by since we did not recommend "off the shelf semi metallics" like you. Obviously ST sports work fine for a bunch of us.

Opinions don't change facts. I was just having a conversation and responding to your comments.
No worries.

IDK man....I've also had both and the HP+ makes a LOT more torque than the stoptech sport.
This is honestly the first time I've heard the HP+ initial (street temp) bite being compared to the Stoptech Sport. It wasn't even in the same universe for me.
HP+ is a low temp, semi metallic autocross pad. It makes all its torque down low in the temp range.
The HPS and Stoptech Sport probably have similar initial bite.
Stoptechs are a good pad if you're looking for a steerable pad that can take a lot of heat. But..OP just wants more torque down at low temps.
A $20-30 semi metallic will do that better than the stoptech sport.

Carbotech AX6 all day. Mine usually squeal a bit (I swap between OEM and AX6's depending on track/backroad season or not) this go around the AX6's are barely making a peep, kinda scratching my head.

Gone from a EBC drilled and grooved rota with ebc yellow stuff pads <front>
Now have Honda oem plain rotas and Ferodo 2500 pads
Am finding a good cold bite & less noise from the ebc discs.
And will not crack or deform with anything thrown at them being a Honda oem part..

For street pads I have had Winmax W2 and now I'm on Winmax W3 (their most aggressive street pad with light track use).
The W2 were nice and quiet, but had a nice bite to them and definitely an improvement over stock pads. they definitely dusted A LOT more than I anticipated.
My W3 are great and I am very happy with them. They are quiet sometimes, but they can be a bit noisy like track pads at times as well, but not as loud as cold track pads. In the canyons they seem to take more braking a lot better, which makes sense. And the dusting is about the same as the W2, maybe a tiny bit more. If you don't mind the occasional noisy pads, would definitely recommend the W3. I haven't autocrossed or tracked with them yet, but I think they are a nice compromise between a street pad and track pad for your daily driver, which is what they are marketed towards since I didn't want a dedicated track pad yet. I will be tracking them Labor Day weekend at Streets of Willow, so maybe I'll come and update the thread afterwards.
